ASMP BULLETIN - A monthly magazine presenting
news and features.

THE ASMP BUSINESS BIBLE - A guide for professional media photographers,
containing business information gathered over the years. The publication is in a binder
which can be updated continually. General and associate members receive the Business Bible
free.

WHITE PAPERS - Special publications dealing with specific concerns of
photographers. Members receive free copies; affiliates may purchase them at discount
prices.

ADVOCACY - Lobbying and legal actions selectively directed at setting
precedent, modifying laws and legislation at federal and state level.

ASMP ON THE INTERNET - ASMP's Web site contains a
variety of information of Society and industry news, programs, publications, special
announcements. General members are listed in a searchable on-line database which enables
photo buyers to find a photographer by name, region, or specialty. Members also have
access to a members-only forum to share information with their peers.

CHAPTER AFFILIATION - ASMP has a nationwide network of 38 chapters which provide
a wide range of seminars, workshops, and local news.

WHITE PAPERS - Special publications dealing with specific
concerns of photographers. Members receive free copies; affiliates may
purchase them at discount prices.

SPECIALTY
GROUPS - ASMP has created specialty groups in several fields of
photography to address concerns, business practices, and standards in
these sectors of the industry. Education of photographers and clients in
these fields is a major concern and is being addressed by these
specialty groups. At present, ASMP has specialty groups for
photographers in Architecture and Underwater Photography.

INSURANCE - Life, comprehensive medical, major medical, and
disability insurance are all available. ASMP offers an accidental death and
dismemberment plan. The Society pioneered the development of Prosurance, a
liability and camera insurance policy designed for professional photographers.
Coverage may also be obtained for workers compensation, weather, animal
mortality, cast/models and umbrella liability. A program is also available to
members only to insure funds for losses incurred through incorrect processing
by labs.

OTHER BENEFITS - General members receive the ASMP Press card,
all other members and affiliates receive member or affiliate cards which come
with a set of handy reference phone numbers for various services. Other
benefits include car rental discount cards, x-ray protection labels, access to
discounted overnight delivery services, stationary supplies, and computer
equipment. Members are also eligible to participate in electronic forums on
the ASMP web site.

GOOD OFFICES - Members receive consultation and advice on
business problems and concerns from expert staff at ASMP's national office.
